Instagram Rolled Out Ads For Its Reels1 min read

Instagram’s video feed, Reels will now show 30 seconds long ads to its users. Ads will be identified by a small “sponsored” tag below the name of the advertiser’s account.

 

After launching Reels in August 2020, Instagram has not shared specifics of how the new format is performing. According to reports by the Verge, Instagram’s new format was growing but the company is not yet happy with it.

Instagram Reels major competitor TikTok has seen a massive audience and its ads have been successful enough to charge up to $2 million for one-day take-overs.
