Visa (NYSE: V), the global leader in digital payments, has recently announced its first in-market Direct-to-Cardholder campaign in Bangladesh, offering exclusive rewards on all Visa consumer cards in the country. The campaign started last week and will be running until May 31, 2025, to bring added joy to customers during Ramadan, Independence Day, Eid-ul-Fitr & Pohela Boishakh, according to press release.

Visa cardholders can enjoy the benefits of three different offers under the campaign: Activate & Win, Tap & Win, and Spend & Win.

  • ‘Activate & Win’ offer – customers must use their Visa card at least once on a valid transaction of at least BDT 500 during the campaign to win a foodpanda voucher worth BDT 150. All Visa cardholders who have not made any eligible transactions between January 1, 2024, and February 15, 2025, can participate in this offer.
  • ‘Tap & Win’ offer – Visa cardholders need to conduct 15 eligible ‘tap and pay’ transactions of at least BDT 500 each during the campaign period using their contactless-enabled cards, to win a foodpanda voucher worth BDT 500.
  • ‘Spend & Win’ offer – customers can make as many eligible transactions as possible with their Visa card during the campaign. The top 100 spenders will win a foodpanda voucher worth BDT 15,000.

Elaborating on the campaign, Sabbir Ahmed, Country Manager, Bangladesh, Nepal, & Bhutan, Visa, commented, “We believe in making every moment more rewarding for our cardholders. Bangladesh is filled with rich culture, festivities, and tradition and this campaign is Visa’s way of celebrating with our users, ensuring convenience and security in digital payments with ample rewards during festive times. We are delighted to partner with foodpanda to fill the country’s festivities with joy and gratification. Whether anyone is shopping for Ramadan, preparing for Eid, or Pohela Boishakh, Visa is here to make every celebration memorable and rewarding.”
