At a press conference held in BCB media on Thursday, the chief executive officer of BCB, Nizam Uddin Chowdhury and the finance director of Unilever Bangladesh Limited, Zahidul Islam Malita, signed the settlement at BCB’s office at Sher-e- Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
Unilever and BCB’s journey will inaugurate with the Asia Cup 2018 in this month and it has been officialized to couple the Bangladesh National Team Kit with the Lifebuoy logo, one of the many products of UBL. The BCB team is extremely content with current turn of events as Unilever has records of donating to the country’s socio economic- development besides developing its own business. Besides that, UBL has lately engaged in an interest over sports as it was one of the sponsors of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20’s ‘Dhaka Dynamites’ team last year and had organized the Clear Men U-17 Football Tournament across the country. This is the beginning of a firm commitment, leading through the stairway of a persisting collaboration. Unilever has immense contributions to the society and aims to continue this legacy unitedly with cricket which is indeed the most popular attractive sport in the country.
