Twitter’s $3 subscription service, Twitter Blue may soon arrive

The subscription will include Reader Mode, which will turn tweet threads into “easy-to-read text”. Earlier Twitter acquired Scroll, a subscription service that helps better the reading experience by removing ads.

Twitter Blue users will also be able to change the color of their app icon, and the color theme of their timeline.

In addition, its other feature “Collections” will allow Twitter Blue subscribers to save and organize tweets in folders.

With 85% of Twitter’s reported revenue generating from Twitter Ads, the company is looking for newer ways to monetize the platform.
