ShareTrip Launches ST Pay, First Of Its Kind Digital Wallet In The Country’s OTA Industry2 min read
ShareTrip, a frontrunner in Bangladesh’s travel technology sphere, is transitioning into a lifestyle brand. This strategic shift is underscored by the launch of ST Pay (ShareTrip Pay), a first-of-its-kind digital payment solution in the travel management industry of Bangladesh.
The unveiling of the digital wallet coincided with ShareTrip’s 4th-anniversary celebration, a milestone event that showcased the company’s renewed commitment to enhancing user experiences. This launch signifies a strategic step by ShareTrip to deliver added value and enriched interactions for its users.
Beyond ST Pay, ShareTrip has introduced an array of advanced financial tools and features, including vouchers, an extensive shopping platform, mobile recharge services, and bill payment options. These additions are aimed at substantially enriching the user experience.
The launching ceremony took place at a city hotel yesterday.
The State Minister of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, was present as the chief guest. ICT Division Secretary, Md Shamsul Arefin, was the special guest, and Sami Ahmed, Managing Director and CEO of Startup Bangladesh Ltd., was the guest of honor at the event.
In his speech, the State Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, highlighted ShareTrip’s crucial impact on the technological and travel sectors in Bangladesh.
ShareTrip also announced securing a second round of investment from Startup Bangladesh Limited (SBL). This marks a continued trajectory of growth and innovation for ShareTrip, building on its impressive accomplishments in 2022.

ShareTrip’s recently overhauled website boasts a slew of modern features, central to which is the ST Pay system. This system is designed to facilitate efficient and streamlined financial interactions for users.
The ShareTrip app now offers easy access to newly added services such as Shop, Voucher, Mobile Recharge, and Pay Bill. Launched during the company’s fourth-anniversary celebration, these services are a testament to ShareTrip’s dedication to enhancing user experiences.
