The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has unveiled its leadership team for 2025, with Mahtab Uddin Ahmed assuming the prestigious role of president. This announcement followed the Council Meeting held on January 26, 2025 reportedly.
Joining Ahmed in the leadership are Md Kausar Alam and Abdul Matin Patwary as vice-presidents, Hasnain Thoufiq Ahmed as secretary, and Md Maksudur Rahman as treasurer, completing a formidable team poised to steer ICMAB toward continued excellence.

Mahtab Uddin Ahmed is a distinguished leader, celebrated for his transformative tenure as the CEO and managing director of Robi Axiata Ltd., where he spearheaded strategic advancements and achieved significant corporate milestones.
Academically, Ahmed’s credentials reflect a legacy of excellence. A graduate with Honours and a Master’s in Accounting from Dhaka University, both earned with distinction, he further honed his expertise through advanced executive programs. He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program (AMP 190), IMB Switzerland, and INSEAD.
Under Ahmed’s leadership, ICMAB is set to embark on a progressive trajectory, driven by his vision, strategic foresight, and unwavering commitment to elevating the institution’s impact and influence.
