Nestlé Bangladesh PLC has appointed Hosne Ara Loma as its new Director of Human Resources. With this appointment, Nestlé, a prominent player in the nutrition, health, and wellness industry, signals its commitment to strengthening its workforce and organizational culture in the Bangladesh market.

Hosne Ara Loma brings with her a wealth of experience accumulated over 24 years in executive roles across esteemed multinational corporations operating in Bangladesh and India. Her track record reflects a dedication to driving business success through the formulation of effective strategies and the cultivation of a resilient organizational ethos conducive to sustained growth.

Prior to joining Nestlé, Loma served as the Country Head of People and Organization at Novartis Bangladesh Limited, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s human resources landscape. Additionally, her tenure as the Director of People and Culture at Philip Morris International’s Indian branch underscores her proficiency in managing diverse workforce dynamics in the region.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Loma is recognized for her advocacy of diversity and inclusion initiatives. Notably, she spearheaded the launch of Bangladesh’s inaugural ‘Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Award’ in collaboration with the Foreign Investors’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), demonstrating her commitment to fostering a more inclusive corporate environment.

Hosne Ara Loma’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors from Lady Shriram College for Women, University of Delhi, India, and a Master of Business Administration from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka.
