EBL Unveils BKMEA Co-Brand Cards1 min read
Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) has launched co-branded credit cards for members and staff of the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) at an event in Gulshan, Dhaka. The ceremony saw the presence of prominent figures from both EBL and BKMEA, including Mohammad Hatem, Executive President, and Fazlee Shamim Ehsan, Vice President of BKMEA. Representing EBL were Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director, Ahmed Shaheen, Additional Managing Director, and Tasnim Hussain, Head of Cards.
“These cards are designed to provide an exceptional banking experience, offering exclusive services and benefits tailored to meet the needs of BKMEA members and staff,” stated Ali Reza Iftekhar during the event. The newly introduced EBL-BKMEA co-branded credit cards come in two variants: Visa Platinum and Visa Signature. Members of BKMEA and its staff are eligible to apply for these cards, which promise a range of unique benefits.
Key features of the co-branded credit cards include complimentary access to the EBL Skylounge at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka and Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram. Additionally, the cards come with zero issuance fees and include a Priority Pass card at no extra cost, providing access to over 1,100 international airport lounges across 120 countries. Further enhancing the offer, primary cardholders are entitled to receive up to two free supplementary cards. Cardholders will also enjoy discounts at numerous lifestyle, shopping, and dining merchants both locally and internationally.
