BRAC Bank has arranged a day-long workshop for its Dhaka-based Small Credit Team on SME credit risk, titled ‘Challenges and Best Practice Alignment in Small Business Loan Processing as stated in the Press Release.
A total of 52 SME risk managers and credit managers from Dhaka Region 1, 2 and 3 participated in the workshop organized at the bank’s head office in Dhaka.
The workshop included several sessions on the challenges of SME business, portfolio quality, loan assessment and policy & process review. In these sessions, the expert trainers from BRAC Bank answered various questions from the participants along with providing the regular training.
BRAC Bank believes that there is no alternative to a skilled workforce for proper loan management in the SME sector. The bank always works on developing its employees’ expertise and keeping them up to date through regular training, while maintaining good governance in its daily operations.
In the training sessions, the bank has listened to the field experiences of the SME sector from the participating managers and provided guidance on best practices.
