[dropcap]B[/dropcap]angladeshi electronics manufacturer Walton has signed an agreement with worldwide e-commerce monster Amazon to export the its products to the United States.
On behalf of their respective associations, Shashank Pandey, nation manager of Amazon BD, and Engineer Liakat Ali, executive director of Walton Group and CEO of Computer Products Division, signed the agreement at the corporate office of Walton in the capital.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak was likewise present on the event.
As indicated by the organization statement, Walton brand electronics and ICT items will be available in United States starting now and into the foreseeable future.

At first, Amazon will sell Walton brande Laptops, computers, mobile phones and home appliances items in the American market. The deal will enable Amazon to take a wide range of Walton items.
Reportedly on the eve of the occasion Mr. Palak said,
“Products made in Bangladesh are going to the American market. This is not only a historic day for Walton, but also a historic day for Bangladesh as well. It’s historic day for digital Bangladesh. Walton products are being exported to the country that leading the world’s digital economy. This is a big achievement for us.”
Mr. Pandey said,
‘Today is an important day for Amazon, Walton and Bangladesh. There is a global demand for products made in Bangladesh. Through this deal, Walton products will be available on Amazon’s global platform.’
This deal signing with Amazon is opening up Walton’s products to the American market which will eventually pave the way for the Bangladeshi giant to become one of the worlds known brand in near future.
