Guardian Life Insurance Limited, one of Bangladesh’s leading insurance providers, has unveiled its latest offering – “Nirbhar,” a groundbreaking insurance plan designed to provide financial security with added convenience reportedly.
“Nirbhar” is a meticulously crafted Regular Income Plan that eliminates the need for customers to pay premiums throughout the entire policy term. Instead, policyholders will contribute premiums for a predefined period, after which they will receive regular income benefits for the remaining tenure.
For example, in a policy spanning 10 to 25 years, customers need to pay premiums for only 5 to 10 years, while enjoying uninterrupted life insurance coverage for the full duration of the policy. At the term’s conclusion, policyholders will receive the accumulated amount along with maturity benefits. Notably, this innovative plan can be initiated with an investment as modest as Tk1 lakh.
The launch of “Nirbhar” was marked by a distinguished event attended by key executives, including Sheikh Rakibul Karim, FCA, Additional Managing Director and Acting CEO of Guardian Life, alongside Mahmudur Rahman Khan, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Retail Business; Md Sajib Hossain, FCA, Chief Financial Officer; and Md Saud Imran, Chief Operating Officer. Other senior officials, insurance industry experts, and esteemed dignitaries were also present.
