Uber Eats is the food delivery app by ride-hailing company Uber. It started its journey in Bangladesh in April 2019, with Dhaka as its first city. In fact, it is similar to the Uber rides app. Additionally, it is a food delivery app that helps bring food to consumers in a convenient and reliable manner from all the best and latest restaurants in their neighborhood.
However, the food delivery wing of global ride-sharing giant-Uber has declared to end its operation in Bangladesh effective from June 2, 2020. The global ride-sharing giant has announced the news through a blog post today!

As per the blog post, Uber stated-
After a year of partnering with local restaurants to offer convenient and reliable food delivery, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue Uber Eats in Bangladesh, on June 2nd, 2020.
While we are sad that the food delivery service is leaving Bangladesh, we are committed to continue serving our communities here through our Uber Rides business. Our number one priority now is to do everything possible to minimise the impact on our valued employees, restaurant partners, delivery partners, and consumers who have supported us.
Lastly, we want to take this opportunity to thank the entire Uber Eats Bangladesh community for their support.
Currently, This food delivery service is present in more than 350 cities and 36 countries across the world. In Dhaka, it served some of the best and most loved restaurants. Moreover, it created flexible and sustainable earning opportunities for anyone who chooses to partner with Uber Eats as a delivery partner.
