IPDC and Prothom Alo To Honor Your Favorite Teachers1 min read
‘Teacher’; a word is signifying the torch which shows us the way to a better, brighter tomorrow. Teachers are the embodiments of the key to the get way in building an ideal citizen and most importantly, a good human being. Recognising the invaluable contribution of our torchbearers, IPDC in collaboration with Prothom Alo has recently launched its inaugural ‘Priyo Shikkhok Shommanona’.
The main objective of this event is to motivate teachers, both elementary and primary, to find their motivation in cultivating the youth of tomorrow. Honouring these bright minds for their invaluable contribution to the society and the country as a whole is most definitely going to motivate them in paving better paths for a brighter tomorrow.
To apply in this event, the applicant needs to meet a few eligibility criteria. These include:
- The applicant needs to be over the age of 18
- One teacher can get a maximum of three nominations
- The nominated teacher may either be in service or retirement
- The nominated teacher has to be Bangladeshi, and over the age of 40
To apply, you have to visit www.priyoshikkhok.com, download the pdf form, fill it up, and submit the document at Prothom Alo headquarters.
The date for registration and submission lasted from August 25 to September 16, 2019.
Ten teachers from both categories will be selected and given the honour of being ‘Priyo Shikkhok’.
