In an announcement made prior to Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, Facebook declared they are launching a new interface that would allow creators to see how different fees affect their earnings on the site.
The interface will include the amount of taxes and other company fees charged on a creator’s earnings.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg also reported the company will not charge any fees for paid online events, fan subscriptions, badges and their upcoming new independent news products until 2023.
The company plans to introduce revenue share later but confirms it will be below 30%, less than what other companies such as Apple takes.
