BRAC Bank partners DHL for eco-friendly shipping initiative

BRAC Bank has entered into a strategic partnership with DHL, the world-renowned logistics company, to introduce the GOGREEN Plus Carbon Reduced Shipping Service, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability.

Md. Sabbir Hossain, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer of BRAC Bank, and Md. Miarul Haque, Managing Director of DHL Express Bangladesh, formalised the partnership on November 21, 2024, at the BRAC Bank head office.

The GOGREEN Plus package shows the bank’s strong commitment to sustainability by actively reducing its carbon footprint through DHL’s green logistics solutions.

BRAC Bank becomes the second commercial bank in Bangladesh to adopt this eco-friendly shipping initiative, which aligns with its broader sustainability goals and ongoing commitment to reducing carbon emissions.
