Bidyanondo Plastic Exchange Store | An Initiative to Change the Future1 min read
Bidyanondo Foundation opened a store at St. Martin, where discarded plastic can now be exchanged for daily necessities such as rice, lentil, oil, sugar, salt, etc. The store has already proven extremely effective in tackling the plastic pollution crisis on the island, said a press release.
Asiatic MCL as Bidyanondo Foundation’s partner for the project has strived to bring it to life with the greatest possible impact and efficiency. The Managing Director of Asiatic MCL, Ferdous Hassan Neville said,
“At Asiatic MCL, we strive to do impactful works. The team takes immense pleasure and pride to be associated with such a meaningful initiative that can be a sustainable solution for plastic pollution. We look forward to creating more opportunities like this.”

The creative team has been led by Mohammad Akrum Hasan, Executive Creative Director, Asiatic MCL. He said,
“We never expected such a large response. This is an amazing initiative that takes on the climate crisis while also restoring St. Martin.”
