The Advertising Agencies Association of Bangladesh (AAB) has crowned team Eraser from Gray Dhaka as the champions of Sharpener 2026, positioning them to represent the nation at one of Asia’s most significant advertising festivals.
Syeda Jannat Ahmed and MD. Shakidul Karim Dipu triumphed over 10 competing teams in the final presentations held January 31 at Adcomm’s Dhaka headquarters, earning the right to participate in the ASFEST 2026 Young Lotus Workshop as Team Dhaka. The workshop schedule for March 17-19 at the Royal Cliffs Hotels Group in Pattaya, Thailand, serves as a precursor to ADFEST 2026 ( March 19-21), where top young creatives from the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions converge to exchange ideas and showcase innovative work.
The just-compromised industry veterans Mohammmed Akrum Hossain (Chief Creative Officer, Pop5), Rashika Osman (Senior Vice President & Head of Planning, Adcomm), and An Nurur Rahman( Executive Creative Director, Grey Dhaka), with moderation by Hasib Hasan Chowdhury.
AAAB Executive Committee members Syed Ahsanul Apon (General Secretary) and MA Maruf (Joint Secretary) attended the event, underscoring the association’s dedication to developing the next generation of advertising professionals.
Sharpener remains open to advertising professionals under 30 with at least one year of industry experience, continuing its mission to elevate Bangladesh’s creative industry through global exposure and competitive excellence.
