Mark Zuckerberg recently announced in Facebook’s latest earnings call that its next product launch will be Ray-Ban smart glasses.
The rumors of Facebook working on a project like this started during 2019. CNBC reported that Facebook was working with EssilorLuxottica, the owner of Ray-Ban on AR eyewear named “Orion”. The eyewear was expected to replace mobile phones by receiving calls, see information and livestream events.
