Shuttle | A Bangladeshi Transportation Startup Receives $1.5 Million In Funding From South Asia Tech And Others1 min read
Shuttle, a transportation company located in Bangladesh, has secured US$1.5 million in the latest fundraising round anchored by South Asia Tech, with participation from the government-backed Startup Bangladesh Limited, Bangladesh Angels Network, and Accelerating Asia. The transaction brought the firm’s total financing to $2.5 million.
Reyasat Chowdhury, Jawwad Jahangir, and Shah Sufian founded Shuttle. It raised $750,000 in an initial fundraising round headed by Accelerating Asia last year.
Shuttle, founded in 2018, can carry up to 11 individuals to a comparable location in a single vehicle. It also provides B2B services that enable businesses to arrange daily commutes for their employees. It now has over 30,000 registered users and over 50 business clients.

At the moment, The company intends to use the new funds for product development and recruiting.
