In a striking response to the surge in violence against women, La Fondation des Femmes has launched an innovative and impactful campaign, #NePasIgnorer (Do Not Ignore). Conceptualized by the AUSTRALIE agency, this campaign takes a groundbreaking approach to ensure its vital message reaches audiences. By creatively hijacking the familiar “skip ad” button in online videos, the campaign compels viewers to engage, symbolizing how the voices of women affected by domestic violence must no longer be ignored.

The campaign’s urgent plea is simple yet powerful: “Against indifference, donations make a difference.” It shines a spotlight on the grim reality faced by victims of domestic violence and the stark gap between their needs and the resources available to support them.

Prominent figures have rallied behind the cause, lending their voices to amplify the message. Singers such as Amel Bent and Mathilde, alongside celebrated actresses like Julie Gayet, Muriel Robin, and Camille Lellouche, stand in solidarity with survivors. Activists Caroline Darian and Diariata N’diaye, who are at the forefront of women’s rights advocacy, also stress the critical importance of addressing this escalating crisis.

  • 94% of rape complaints are dismissed.
  • 40% of domestic violence survivors remain trapped in dangerous situations due to a lack of alternatives.
  • In 1 out of 3 femicides, prior reports of violence had been made.
  • 91% of rape victims know their attacker.

These numbers underscore the dire need for increased funding, resources, and collective action. The campaign is done to raise and take proper actions. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be directed to grassroots organizations dedicated to supporting and protecting women affected by violence.
