Colonel Sanders has had a facial do-over. No, not the actual one, may he rest in peace. KFC France has rebranded the iconic logo of Colonel Sanders with a clean-shaven look. The clean shave serves as an encouragement for people to join the Movember movement. The movement s dedicated to spreading awareness regarding men’s health complications.
THE IDEA OF THE CAMPAIGN
The message of the campaign is simple. Shave off your mustache at the beginning of November, and let it grow back within the rest of the month. Colonel Sanders is arguably the most renowned mustachioed personality in the world of fast food. Shaving off the Colonel’s mustache is surely going to create an incredible impact in the minds of the audience. Along with that, the importance of men’s health and well-being is also highlighted in an incredible way.
KFC France collaborated with Sid Lee, France; a top marketing agency in their country. The campaign was launched on November 3rd, 2020. The integrated advertisement targeted the categories namely Food, NGO, and Public Interest.
An incredibly powerful campaign, with an invaluably creative touch.
