The Daily Star wanted to do something exceptional on its 25th anniversary. So they invited storytellers from all around the country to join the initiative. The Daily Star has covered thousands of remarkable stories of inspiration and aspiration over the years. Yet many stories has gone unsaid, many songs has gone unsung, mostly of the unsung heroes and silent guardian angels.

On their 25th anniversary, they urged everyone to share a story of the hero in their life. They created a portal where participants could post with the hashtag #JoinTheJourney and write the story of the person who is creating a difference in their society. 25 of the storytellers were invited to the Gala Celebration of the Daily Star.
