Facebook Will Restrict Specific Targeting Ads To Under-18s1 min read
Facebook, the social media company will stop advertisers to target under-18s on their interests or activities in the website. The advertisers will only be allowed to target under-18s by age, location or gender on Facebook, Messenger and in Instagram.
The action is due to the company’s believe that young people might not be equipped to make decisions about the ads targeting.
Instagram accounts will be private by default for people who are under 16 years old.
