Shwapno outlets highlight US products in “Taste of America” promotion

Bangladesh’s leading retailer, Shwapno has announced an initiative jointly with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to highlight products from the United States of America. The exhibit named “Taste of America” showcases over 100 US food and beverages products in 10 Shwapno retail outlets around Dhaka and Sylhet.

The “Taste of America” promotion was launched on Friday in the presence of Earl R Miller, US ambassador to Bangladesh, Arif Dowla, managing director of ACI Group, and Sabbir Hasan Nasir, executive director of Shwapno.

Shwapno will highlight US products by featuring them on an “American Shelf” strategically placed in various retail outlets in Dhaka and Sylhet. The promotion aims to provide consumers in Bangladesh greater access to US food and beverage products including canola oil, dried fruits, nuts, cereals, chocolates etc.
