Md. Siddiqur Rahman Got Appointed As The New DMD & COO Of Standard Bank1 min read
Md Siddiqur Rahman has recently been appointed as Standard Bank Limited’s new deputy managing director (DMD) and chief operating officer (COO). Standard Bank Limited is a Shariah-based commercial bank in Bangladesh.

Prior to joining the new role, Md Siddiqur Rahman was serving as DMD and Chief Risk Officer and Chief Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer (CAMLCO) of Islami Bank Bangladesh.
He is a Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) in International Trade Finance which has been accredited by Paris-based ICC and UK-based IFS.

He has also attained a certified Shariah adviser and auditor (CSAA) fellowship from Bahrain-based AAOIFI.
With 30 years of Islamic Banking experience, Md Siddiqur Rahman completed his under-graduation from the University of Dhaka (Public Administration). He also has a Masters in Business Administration degree.
