BRAC Bank has achieved the milestone of opening 50 sub-branches, taking its branch distribution network to newer heights.
The milestone was achieved by inaugurating a sub-branch at Oxygen Moor in Chattogram, which went into operation on September 26, 2024.
Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Branch Distribution Network, and senior officials of Branch Network celebrated the momentous occasion by cutting a cake on September 29, 2024.
With the bank’s most modern services, business and individual customers of this financially important area of Chattogram metropolis will now have access to new opportunities.
On June 01, 2022, BRAC Bank introduced its sub-branch network as a part of its multi-channel distribution strategy to bring the best banking services to customers’ doorsteps across the country.
Customers can avail themselves of all banking services at the sub-branch, including account opening, cash deposit and withdrawal, deposit pension scheme, fund transfer using EFTN and RTGS, remittance service, utility bill, credit card, student file, consumer loan, debit card and cheque book processing, Astha App enrollment, school banking, savings instruments, and many more, except for foreign exchange services.
The sub-branch is a part of BRAC Bank’s commitment to reaching out to more people and covering more localities as a part of its multi-channel strategy. The bank is firmly committed to promoting financial inclusion by expanding its semi-urban and rural networks.
