Ju-un Nahar Choudhury: Coca-Cola’s First Bangladeshi MD1 min read

In a historic move, Coca-Cola Bangladesh Ltd. has appointed Ju-un Nahar Choudhury as its new Managing Director, marking her as the first Bangladeshi and the first woman to hold this prestigious position. Choudhury takes the reins from Ta Duy Tung, who assumed the role in 2021.

With a career that commenced at Unilever as a management trainee in marketing, Choudhury has traversed diverse roles, showcasing her leadership skills. Notably, she led a team that clinched a Guinness World Record for the nationwide “Lifebuoy Handwashing Campaign.” Her professional journey includes pivotal roles at renowned companies such as Rickett Benckiser, Danone Indonesia, and Apex.

Expressing her gratitude and commitment, Choudhury stated, “I am humbled to lead Bangladesh on this Coca-Cola journey, and I am committed to steering our brands and franchise operations to new heights.” Coca-Cola Bangladesh Ltd. welcomes Choudhury’s wealth of experience and leadership, anticipating her contribution to the brand’s continued success in the region.
