Barcelona Modeling Agency Unveils Spain’s First AI Influencer, Aitana López2 min read
Barcelona-based modeling agency, The Clueless, has introduced Spain’s first artificial intelligence influencer, Aitana López. The digital creation, a 25-year-old with distinctive pink hair, has quickly gained popularity, amassing an impressive 124,000 followers on Instagram.
According to Rubeñ Cruz reportedly, the founder of The Clueless, the decision to develop an AI influencer was prompted by persistent challenges faced while working with real models and influencers. Cruz explained as they started analyzing how they were working and realized that many projects were being put on hold or canceled due to problems beyond their control. Often it was the fault of the influencer or model and not due to design issues.
Aitana López, generated using Photoshop, boasts a carefully crafted personality described as a “strong and determined woman” and a “passionate Scorpio.” The agency designed her based on societal preferences, incorporating interests such as video games and fitness. The move to AI influencers is seen as a strategic choice to avoid the challenges associated with human influencers, including egos and reliability issues.
The AI influencer’s Instagram account showcases a variety of lifestyle content, from nights out enjoying cocktails to gym sessions. Additionally, images of López in lingerie have been shared on Fanvue, a subscription platform akin to OnlyFans, demonstrating the versatility of AI-generated content.
López’s potential earnings are impressive, with the capacity to make just over 1,000 euros per advertisement. Her monthly income is reported to range from 3,000 to 10,000 euros, providing The Clueless with a reliable and controllable alternative to human influencers.
This development aligns with the rising trend of AI models finding success on social media and adult content platforms. Similar instances, such as Emily Pellegrini, with over 100,000 followers on Instagram and a presence on Fanvue, highlight the growing acceptance and success of AI-generated characters. Will Monange, CEO of Fanvue, anticipates the widespread adoption of AI models, suggesting they will soon be as prevalent as their human counterparts in creative industries. The introduction of Aitana López signals a transformative moment in the intersection of technology and fashion, paving the way for new possibilities in the world of digital influence.
