Govt To Liquidate Evaly If the Company Fails to Meet Liabilities1 min read

The commerce ministry will send a letter to Evaly asking to explain how the e-commerce company will pay off its liabilities to its customers and merchants.

 

The ministry has decided to file a case against the company if it fails to give any satisfactory explanation. The case will be filed with court to either liquidate or seize the assets of the company.

Evaly will be given 10 days to respond to the letter. Officials attending the meeting has said that other companies like Dhamaka Shopping, Alesha Mart, E-orange etc will also be asked for explanations in phases.
