Fahim Murshed explained the motivation behind Protirodh.net: “I noticed a disconnect between new volunteers and the public needing help. Our goal is to bridge this gap and map out incidents across Bangladesh to quickly identify and respond to affected areas.”
Protirodh.net boasts user-friendly features designed for speed and accuracy. Users can report incidents with just a few clicks, while the platform’s mapping and location tracking features ensure precise and timely responses. A real-time monitoring system displays all reported incidents on an interactive map, keeping users informed and aware of local developments. Developed during a hyper hackathon, Protirodh.net highlights the immediate need for a community-based crime-fighting tool. While the platform is already operational, Murshed and his team are focused on adding new features to further enhance its capabilities.
Murshed stated the main focus is to support law and order in the neighborhoods until law enforcement agencies are fully operational.
