BYD (Build Your Dreams), a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has recently celebrated its 30th anniversary with the roll-off of its 10-millionth NEV at its Xiaomo Production Base in the Shenzhen-Shanwei Special Cooperation Zone. To enhance the celebration, BYD Bangladesh has organized a 3-day carnival, called BYD PowerPlay. The carnival took place from November 21 to 23, 2024, at BYD Bangladesh Flagship Showroom in Tejgaon’s Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Sharani, stated in the press release.
The 30th anniversary and rolling off 10 million NEV marks BYD’s steadfast commitment to sustainable transportation and strengthens its position as a global leader in the automotive industry. BYD is now the first automaker in the world to achieve such a groundbreaking figure – 10 million. To celebrate such a milestone, BYD Bangladesh organized the carnival to showcase the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility and provide a unique experience to the local customers.
The event was open for all to enjoy. During the 3-day carnival, visitors got the opportunity to take BYD vehicles for a test drive and immersed themselves in the electrifying experience of driving an electric car.
