In a significant relief for businesses, the National Board of Revenue (NBR) has once again extended the corporate tax return deadline—this time until April 30. Previously, companies were required to file their returns by March 16, reportedly.

The decision, announced in an official notification signed by HM Shahriar Hassan, Second Secretary of the NBR, comes in response to a low submission rate and repeated requests from stakeholders.
This marks the third extension, as the original deadline of January 15 was first pushed to February 15, then to March 16. With the latest extension, businesses now have a crucial extra window to get their tax filings in order.
