Guardian Life Insurance Resolves Over 150,000 Claims In 20241 min read

A leading life insurance (Guardian Life Insurance) company has set a new benchmark by settling over 150,000 claims if insurance in 2024, with 95 percent of them processed within just three working days.

Among these claims, compensation for 36,000 death cases amounted to more than Tk 241 crore. Additionally, Tk 109 crore was allocated for health and medical expenses, while over Tk 89 crore was disbursed for policy maturities and other claims.

In total, the insurer settled claims worth Tk 439 crore over the past year. The company remains committed to the vision of making insurance accessible to all, having already extended coverage to over 1.26 crore individuals.

Ensuring transparency and accountability is a top priority, with a strict “zero tolerance” policy in place to foster customer trust. Rapid and transparent claim settlements continue to be the focus, with ongoing improvements in technology and operational efficiency to further expedite the process.
