Bangladesh’s daily egg consumption is around 4.5 crore, with 80% supplied by small farmers. Large corporations like Pran, leveraging economies of scale, can produce eggs and meat at significantly lower costs.
Pran’s automated egg production facilities ensure year-round production, addressing supply shortages during extreme weather conditions. This technology-driven approach also supports the company’s goal of increasing efficiency and consistency.
Projections show that per capita egg consumption in Bangladesh will rise from 135 to 160 by 2030, reflecting the growing demand. Pran’s initiatives are expected to create nearly 2,000 jobs, further strengthening its position in the poultry sector.
