Visa Group Country Manager Visits Dhaka to Honour Clients at ‘Visa Leadership Conclave Bangladesh 2024′2 min read
Visa held its annual ‘Visa Leadership Conclave Bangladesh 2024’ in Dhaka this evening, to celebrate its most valued clients and partners in the country, as stated in the press release.
Held in the presence of Chief Guest Ashik Chowdhury, Executive Chairman, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) and Sandeep Ghosh, Group Country Manager, Visa India and South Asia, the event honoured various banks, MFS (mobile financial services) providers and merchants for their contributions to the digital payments ecosystem.

The event was attended by dignitaries from across the banking and payments ecosystem including Chief Guest – Ashik Chowdhury, Executive Chairman, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), Guest of Honor – Rafeza Akhter Kanta, Director, Payment System Department, Bangladesh Bank and Special Guest – James Gardiner, Foreign Service Officer – U.S. Department of State, US Embassy in Dhaka.
Visa Leadership Conclave Bangladesh 2024 emphasized the importance of Bangladesh as a market and Visa’s focus on digitization of the Bangladesh economy. It also elaborated Visa’s innovations in credential-based payments.
